Great day on Saturday, 5 of us tramped to OH and back. Did the usual bushwhacks. Blackpond BW is a beautiful route this year and still firm as of this past weeked. Lincoln Brook trail was in decent shape, crossings easy and one was still bridged. Bruttie was in fine shape as well and this route takes you a little higher than the previous years I've done this. OHX7 for me! Love this little mountain. Great job to those who have broken out these routes this year. If you go a little further past the new summit, there is an amazing outlook. You are standing on a deadfall of trees covered over by snow and a hard crust. Wonderful views of the whole Franc ridge including over to Garfiield on one side. I little further back you get very unique views of Bond and the beautiful Bondcliff. Congrats to Bob on his first ascent.
