Franconia Brook Trail into Wilderness trail fine. No blow downs on Wilderness trail. Bondcliff trail has snow starting about half mile from top. Just patches, nothing you can't get around. Snow between Bond and Guyot is deep and a monorail. I wasn't postholing but it was cold and early in the morning before sun came out. Snow on the Twinway between Guyot and South Twin was also deep but again no postholing. Down South Twin wasn't bad. A few patches of ice that you could carefully skirt around. Patches of snow as well but nothing you couldn't get through with NEOs or gators. Between Galehead and Garfield also had it's share of monorails which would soon be a postholing nightmare but was fine when I did it. Same between Garfield and Lafayette. From Lafayette to Little Haystack still had some snow! But just a tiny bit. From Little Haystack to Liberty was annoying with rolling hills of snow, bare ground, snow, bare ground. No major blow downs. Just a few small trees. From Liberty Springs Trail turnoff to top of Liberty was, as usual, a slide. People slide on their bums down it and make it impossible for those trying to climb up. Luckily it is a short section. Crampons would have helped here. From Liberty to Flume was similar. The descent was fine, with a bit of a monorail. Then a steep monorail that you had to skirt to left or right which was a little work. Then again, the bum slide issue on the ascent. Coming down Flume was good. Some snow but just patches. A few around the bottom of the stairs that you had to climb through a little. Then dry trail the rest of the way down.
