trails: Mt Roberts/High Ridge/Mt Faraway/Cold Springs
conditions: Very bony up on the ridge to Roberts, snowshoes became more useful after that beyond Roberts. Very nasty blowdowns on the Mt Faraway trail, no bad crossings.
equipment: snowshoes helpful, usual warm winter clothing
comments: Beautiful day in the O-range, met only two others on this 9 mile loop. Wonderful open woods and ledges to Roberts with stunning views from the summit. Nice moose sign up on the ridge with coyote and deer also. No human tracks. Great day to be in the woods as usual
