Sandwich Mtn Trail, Jennings Spur, Drakes Brook Trail
Date of Hike: 10-11-13
Trail Conditions: A couple damp spots, but mostly dry. Leaves on much of the trail, but some spots have had them washed away by water running down the trail. Some blow downs that require step overs, step unders, and one crawl under between Jennings Peak and Sandwich Dome
Special Equipment Required: None needed. Water crossings were find today
Comments: A nice hike on a good fall day. Foliage is pretty bland, but it was still nice to be out. Quiet day seeing only one other person. The trail goes through some varied and interesting portions of forest. Certainly a good place to come back to. Nothing too hard on the trail. It gets steep just before Noon Peak, but other than that it was pretty much what you expect for a trail in the mountains.
