A night's stay at the Days Inn in Campton, $80, renting blades and ski boots from a local ski rental shop, $22, Potato chips, shakes, MickeyD's, gas and whatnot, $60. Snagging a parking space near the Tecumseh trailhead, fitting skiboots into my snowshoes without a hitch, round-tripping Tecumseh in just under 2hours(without running), remembering how to carve with skiis, making it back to CT in time for our dept. annual Christmas bash, seeing on the way a truck window decal of the "Badboy" peeing on a Yankees insignia, all priceless.
