My girlfriend recently expressed an interest in hiking her first 4000 footer. The weekend forecast called for warm temps, low wind and blue skies so I took her on the Franconia Ridge Loop to climb Lincoln and Lafayette for a perfect start to the Spring hiking season.

I got caught in bad weather on my past few hikes so hiking in perfect weather was quite pleasant!

Haha nicely said! I guess if it was easy to get on that ridge then it would be even more crowded right?
