Hiked to Cabot and back . . .
Unknown Pond trail has several wet/soft spots easily avoidable by going rock to rock, at no time did I have mud over my boot. Otherwise the trail is in great shape.
Kilkenney Ridge trail to Cabot . . . a couple bog bridges near term but holding their own . . . one spot on the final ascent to Cabot could use some work, looks like a water bar let go and has eroded the trail into a steep gully, easy to get around but will only get worse. Otherwise the trail is in great shape.
No special gear needed, just lots to drink.
