Really wanted to return again after discovering the Bartlett Mountain Ski Trails, so this was the perfect "1/2 way" point between us and friends from Montpelier.
Conditions were being reported as surprisingly good before the snow last week, with the extra snowfall making it even better. We all used BC type waxless touring skis, but the cold kept them slow and wishing for wax. Regret not using the old long and skinny boards I picked up from the side of the road, even with the ungroomed steeper terrain on the "Connector Trail".
