Falling Waters, Franconia Ridge, OBP Loop.
The weather report called for a nice day and I had no meeting scheduled at work.
I started out bare boot but soon put crampons on while going up the Falling Waters Trail. Kept the crampons on until I got down below 3000 feet on the OBP and the warm day had softened things up a bit but not so much that I was post-holing.
I carried snowshoes but didn't wear them. It was a great day for a hike above tree-line and it beat being at work. Pictures are here.
