Does anyone know why little marcy is not a 46er? Seems like it should be if Grey is. It's almost as tall as Grey, and it is further away. Just wondering.

Trust me, you don't want to venture over there either. It's a thick viewless summit. Bushwacker and I did it last year when we did Point Balk, it's a miserable journey.

We started from Slant Rock lean-to and bushwhacked up Point Balk from there. Where the views from a small rock perch were fabulous. Then continued over to Little Marcy from there.

Yes, I am interested. I am probably limited by time however. I really *need* to start bushwacking though... Maybe this summer.

Just give me a heads up when your ready. Don't worry I wouldn't want to attempt this in the winter, the spruce traps would eat us alive.
