Kearsarge North via Kearsarge Trail

Trail was not as broken as I would have thought. Not even packed. Looks like only one other hiker was on the mountain since the snow at the beginning of the week. I wore my MSR Lightning Ascents up and the traction was great. All the ice is buried under the snow and really wasn't a problem, even at the ice bulge. On the descent I wore my spikes. Crampons not needed today, but some form of traction always helps. Poles always. Saw 3 other hikers today. One fellow had barebooted to the summit.
