Went up 19 mile brook trail We wore stabilicers. No postholing at all today. Switched to crampons at Wildcat Ridge Trail. Wore crampons for the rest of the day. We carried snowshoes but never put them on. All water crossings were not an issue. We hiked down the Polecat Trail at the ski area. Everyone we met was very friendly. We had Cinder with us and there was no problem hiking down the ski slope. All trails were very crusty and traction was definately needed. (#30 & 31 for my W48) Nancy, Joe & Cinder
