Conditions: Perfect sunny, cool day. The parking area is blocked by road shoulder snow so parking is something to improvise. I broke trail through the powder all the way to the summit. Unfortunately, previous hikers had post holed the last mile to the summit, however those postholes are not numerous enough to have ruined the trail.

Special Equipment: Snowshoes with cleats. Trail has about 3 inches of fresh powder over ice, water is running spots under the snow and ice. Some of the stream crossings are open, but easily navigated.

Comments: Considerate use of snowshoes appreciated.
Great views today, with perfect clear skies.
