The Holt trail was not packet out but the Moglis and manning trails were hard packed snow. The summit was partially covered with ice. The Ledges on the Holt tr were covered with ice and 6-10" powder.

crampons or snowshoes with good crampons required for the summit. Manning tr could easily be don barebooted. Coming from the Holt tr crampons and an Ice ax were necesarry, you may even want to rope up. Full protection of skin was needed. all the normal winter gear.

It was a great day day with awsome views. it was zero degrees and blowing forty at the summit. Never saw a person on the trail. We used a rope for safety on the holt tr. I would not reccomend the Holt trail unless you have some mountaneering experience. GREAT HIKE
