Date of Hike: 2/8-9
Trail Conditions: Plenty of Fresh Powder: 2-3' mostly, occassionaly 4'; ~low 20's by nite, 25 degrees by day, no wind. Lower half Nebraska Notch Trail well packed, easy going; upper half untracked; LT untracked, Blazes barely 1-2' above the snow, sometimes hard to follow. Snow doesn't get any better!
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes - essential, Crampons - not needed
Comments: - Great overnite hike; Hiked in Friday nite to Taylor Lodge; Hiked up to almost Butler Lodge, lost LT at ridge 1/2 mile prior, unable to follow, opted not to bushwack, returned via LT south & down Underhill XC Ski Trail to Stevensville Parking Lot.
