Mt Madison Via Daniel Webster Scout & Osgood Trails

Beautiful day, trails in very good condition, very few wet areas. Recent maintenance being done on Osgood. Very windy above tree line, great views. We took our dog Sebastian and it was a tough go for him at the upper part of the Scout trail. I would not recommend taking dogs on this trail. We ended up not summiting but instead turned at the Osgood Junction and headed down. The talus and steep slabs are just to hard on the dogs paws.
