Trail Conditions: Mt Roberts Trail to Mt Roberts had only small patches of hard pack and ice..mostly bare ground.. From Roberts via High Ridge? trail snowpack was solid and constant...many many blowdowns..Orange trail was quite wet in places..many blowdowns..some "cavitating" caused minor postholing in spots..
Equipment: microspikes or stablicers made it easy going for most of the trip..we used them about half the way.. Cold at the Frank Falb Memorial where we had lunch so we bundles up
