almost perfect conditions the whole way up. trail to lookout rock broken. didn't visit summit lodge.
Nice powder off trail, packed styrofoam snow on trail. But the snow cover isn't very deep at the lower elevations. in a few spots there was ice under the snow, and your snowshoe crampons may scrape on rocks here and there under the snow.
But that was before monday morning's sleet...
