Date of Hike: April 7th, 2009
Trail Conditions: Mixture of snow/rail and muddy trail until the road ends and the trail swings up the bank to the left, about a mile after the start. After that it's mostly hard-packed snow. Above treeline there's still good coverage.
Special Equipment Required: I used microspikes, my friends used stabilizers. Crampons not needed. We carried snowshoes but didn't need them. No postholing unless you stepped off the trail.
Comments: Nice day with old friends despite the weather. It was snowing above 3,500', but little wind until the last bit before the summit. We snapped a couple of pics and headed back down.
