This trail is completely snow free & dry
Some muddy leaves toward the beginning of the trail.
Some non-biting blackflies down low

After leaving the trailhead, descend to the 1st small brook crossing
If you continue straight on this trail after the brook,
you will hit a flooded area of beaver activity.

So instead, after that 1st brook make an immediate left on a grassy path
you have to look for it but it is right there
(some small branches down along this but totally passable)

When you come to the open field ahead make a right.
Pass thru the field
{recent logging done here}
& cross another small easy shallow stream of water
to get back to the trail straight across the stream .
Then continue straight
this will help you to avoid the beaver pond.

We saw no one (Monday) spent 2 hours on top
checking out the back side of Blueberry Mt, Moosilauke, Kinsmans, Cannon & the Ridge.
Blue skies & awesome clear views of the Vermont Mts too!

Warm breeze on top & clear & sunny
Nice little hike
great to be able to sit & linger on a summit again
without all the winter gear!
