conditions: ammo ravine has hard packed snow right from start till hut. bare rock to top of wash. jewel is a mix of bare rock then soft monorail back to bare ground and so on.
equiptment: micro spikes to hut. bareboot up to top and all the way out .
comments: what a day on the top. 40 degrees with a slight breeze. the falls area just below hut was hard to follow due to the melting snow making it hard to see prints. running water underneath path was a strange feeling. saw only 6 skiers comming up jewel going to the great gulf. parking lot had 15 cars when i got down, looks like a good day to go up
