Date of Hike: 11/13/09
Trail Conditions:
Lonesome Lake trail is dry with some frozen mud right before you hit the lake.
Fishin Jimmy is icy is spots but can be carefully avoided (around 3200' to 3400')
Kinsman Ridge to the Kinsmans is in terrific shape.
Kinsman Ridge to Cannon has some muddy spots and some icy spots that can be carefully avoided, but maybe not into next week.
Kinsman Ridge down to the Tram lot is an icy mess when it hits the ski trail all the way until it becomes the loose gravel around 2500' Very difficult to avoid, but not quite microspike worthy.
Special Equipment Required: I carried microspikes, didnt use them, probably should have at points. Trekking Poles are always useful
