There was a light cover of snow, mostly packed, on the trails from bottom to top with some drifting to several inches above timberline. Several stretches had ice flows that would be tough without traction. No significant blowdowns. No crossing issues. A bit more snow on the trail to South Peak.
We wore Microspike ST's for the whole trip, recommended.
Cold day with fairly tough conditions up high but with nice views over a solid undercast. We followed moose tracks to well above treeline.
