About 1 foot of fresh unbroken snow -easy to make progress. All crossings bridged.
Made one wrong turn above the cascade on the flats where one member of the crew fell in a spruce trap - took 30 minutes to dig her and her snowshoe out.
Walked across the length of Nancy Pond. Herd path easy to follow until a little ways above the slide where we lost it due to tons of snow on the trees. Eventually decided to come back another day for another attempt.
Great hike under blue skies with MEB, Jen, Mike, Andy, Eric, and Madison.
