Date of Hike: 4/3/11
Trail Conditions: Overall surprisingly dry, but valley floors between Monoosnoc south and north are pond-like. Most trails are snow free, but as of 4/3 there were a couple of patches in the middle section that had 4 to 5 inches of snow.
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments: There is very fresh lumbering that has taken place on both sides of Wachusett Street. The south side is very muddy, and trail signs are largely obliterated. North has dried up a bit more, but still a challenge to follow the trail. Look for the impression left by the old road - it can be seen and followed.
