Fabulous hike to finish out May. Day started out cloudy but sun came out just before we hit Guyot, and stayed for the rest of the day. Trails were in decent shape - just a few blowdowns on the Twinway about halfway between Zealand and Guyot. Few easily passable snow and ice patches on the Twinway between Zealand, but the largest patches we saw were around the shaded sides of Zeacliff Pond. Black flies on the ridge, especially when there was no breeze - most vicious ones were on Bondcliff summit. Warm and a bit humid on the ridge, definitely glad we refilled our water bottles at Guyot shelter.

Hannah had a great day - she was a little tired in the morning after hiking the previous two days, but did great with the terrain and the distance, and even chased a pine marten up a tree. Not much water after the Guyot Shelter spur and absolutely none between Bond and Bondcliff, so plan accordingly. SO PROUD of my hiking buddy :D

Awesome views along the ridge, saw only about half a dozen other people the whole day. Long day, but a perfect one for a trip to the Bonds!!
