The Main trail was wet in the usual spots with early ice flows starting to form on the upper ledges. Exceptionally good day for hiking at this late season date. But better winter hiking conditions are right around the corner.
The clear VFTT displayed the snowless summit of Mt Washington peeking out from behind Mt Shaw across the lake.
Hiked with some of the Mt Major weekend regulars this day and Sammy the dog.
