Special Equipment Required: 15F at start of Hike 27F at finish, just enough layers but not too much.
Comments: Completed the Torrington Trails, Blue Blazed Trails from CT Walk Book. Two state park loop trails: Wolcott Trail around Burr Pond State Park; and Alain and May White Nature Trails in Sunny Brook State Park; and the John Muir Trail connecting them.
Nice side trails in Sunny Brook around brook, good trail around Burr Pond and pleasant mountaintop trail at Walnut Mountain, although no expansive views.
Highlight was walking through mossy hillsides under hemlocks that would be muddy if not freezing was nice and crunchy and grippy in the cold.
