Trail Conditions: Excellent. Water is running everywhere, foliage is pretty though gone by. Suspension bridge is in good shape and hardly any mud. I though we wouldn't see anyone, but we met a number of groups backpacking as well as people who had hiked up to Baker from Dorset.
Note: to find FS 10 from Landgrove, you need to turn left at the main intersection in town coming from Peru, then turn left again at the horse farm half a mile down ("Michigan Road?"). FS 10 will be on the right in a quarter of a mile. If you stay on the main road you'll wind up in Weston. The GMC Guide was very confusing here-I had to call my coworker and former GMC president to help us find the road!
