Trail Conditions: Hard packed snow, not very deep, icy in a lot of places, some exposed rock. There were a number of false trails that you need to be careful about following, one before each peak. There was good snow up to the first lookout then the trail was mostly ice.
Special Equipment Required: Group wore micro-spikes, which were good for the terrain. Snowshoes would not have been very good given the open rock and scrambles.
-Saw a surprisingly small number of people on the trail, good views till we reached Welch when the clouds moved in. A nice day on the trails.
