Date of Hike: Saturday, February 8
Trail Conditions: Trail was bare booted part way to Crawford spur trail, unbroken thereafter.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes and poles.
Comments: Not much snow down low, perhaps six inches. Once past the Crawford spur trail, new snow depth increased to about a foot. We chose to do East Stairs first under the assumption that the spur trails to Stairs & Crawford and the Parker Trail would be broken out by the time we got back. It turned out to be a good plan. Thanks to those that were responsible. The whack from the Parker Trail to the summit of Resolution was not broken out of course, but it didn't take long to get there and back. Parker Trail was unbroken past Resolution.
