I have heard that there is a good spot off Ethan Pond Trail just before junction with Zealand Trail/Twinway. Can anybody confirm this? That should put us 1/4mile from Zealand Hut. Thanks!

Confirmed. Fairly well know/used spot especially by thru-hikers.

There is a spot further up the AT, beneath Whitewall Mtn that I love. Leave the AT on the Zeacliff trail, and very soon it reaches the stream crossing. There is excellent camping downstream and plenty of room & flat spots to be away from the water. Be sure to follow the herd path far enough to the large open area (huge boulder there)

Thank you very much!!
