Circle trail is in fine shape with just a bit of wet on the ledges, easily avoided. Baldface Knob trail is somewhat overgrown between the Circle/Knob junction and the Knob. Slippery Brook trail is in fine shape until that last mile down where it became muddy and sketchy. If not for frequent blazes and double blazes in this area we would have been less certain of the route. Several old roads intersecting made it a confusing and at times we couldn't tell if a tree across the path was signaling a change in direction or was simply a downed tree.

Special equipment needed: bug spray, wind jackets.

The wind at the top of the ledges, the ridge and anywhere else exposed was the worst I've encountered nearly knocking me down twice - several times it was a crawl to the trail junction. Many people out on the Circle trail today. Trail crew on Slippery Brook trail. http://summithikinginnewengland.blogspot.com/2015/06/south-baldface-via-baldface-circle.html
