Arrived at Sherburne Pass TH at 6:30am. A little foggy and wet from previous nights thunder storm. Temp 55 deg. Headed up Sherburne trail past Pico Camp to Pico peak, on top at 7:25. On over to Killington where I started meeting LT and AT hikers. On Killington at 9:25, temp 55 and windy with a few under cast clouds in the valleys. About 5 minutes South of Cooper Lodge found trail leading off to Mendon. Thanks to bobandgeri
for the GPS/topo track on there web site. It was a great help. I put this into my GPS and was able to follow the route to Mendon peak. Backtracked Long Trail and back to Sherburne Pass. Out at 2:45. Great day for hiking, in the 50s, clear and NO bugs to speak of.
