I checked with the 46er Historian. He has an Access database of all 6212 46ers. It includes name, address, 1st peak name and date, and 46th peak name and date. It does not include ages, so there is no statistics available from that database on ages or age groups. The 46er questionnaire does...

A hike to all 5 Dixes is comparable to the Gray/Skylight/Marcy hike you did. The herd paths on the Dixes are well-defined and easy to follow. Once you are on the first peak, usually either Macomb or Dix depending on what direction you go, it's a quick and easy hike between the other peaks...
