Thanks Chip. My oldest photo albums were shot with slides (Velvia) or film (Fuji Reala) using a Nikon F100. In the middle, I went digital SLR and used a Nikon D1H. That gear is kinda heavy so my more recent albums are shot with digi point and shoots, a Nikon E5700 and a small Fuji E550. Funny...

Excellent trip report Yam, and your pics came out great, especially the misty lake cottage scene. I knew that would make a great pic. Put some lighting in the cottage and you could almost call it a Kinkade. Despite the weather and lack of views, this was a fun fun trip, and Yam did a great job...
