Well, with the rain goes my backcountry ski adventure plans for this weekend. The upside is that the trails here in the Boston area are going to be primo for trail running and mountain biking as soon as they dry out!

Didn't see much on the conditions page so thought I'd ask. We're heading up to cut down our Xmas tree in the WMNF tomorrow, specifically along the Kanc and I was wondering how that area fared during the 'corker' this week. Snowshoes a must for good tree hunting? As an aside if you have not...

Started as rain here in Melrose, got about an inch of snow and now it's back to rain. I can take it because it's dumping up north...we'll get ours hopefully next month!
