    Bosebuck Mt.access

Anyone summited Bosebuck Mt. located west of Aziscohos Lake recently? I was in the area the other day and got close via an old logging road and yard. Is there a cannister on top? My family has a camp very close to it on Big Brook.

I'm about to submit my application to the NE 4000 footer club. I'm already a member of the NH 4000 footer club. Do I have to re-submit the list of dates and comments of them again or just the application with the remaining peaks in Me. and VT.? FYI, finished on No. Brother in Aug. Also B/W over...

    Vermont conditions

I think I'm driving from Maine to Vermont this weekend(3/3-3/5). Was curious what conditions are on Camels Hump and Mansfield. I will be hiking Sun. and possibly Mon. solo unless someone needs a hiking partner. Does the Monroe Trail up Camels Hump sound ok? I presume these trails are well broken...

    Campsite near Bigelow

I have a Ford Ranger 4x2 that I negotiated up the CVR just short of the AT crossing (that last bridge). I may just pack a tent etc to the Stratton Brook tentsite afoot but was curious if I might drive to it. I'll go alone so no sense to be foolhardy and get hung up :(

    Campsite near Bigelow

I was planning to hike some of the Bigelow Range via the Fire wardens Trail in Oct. Can someone tell me if the Stratton Brook Tentsite is accessable by car or is it up the trail a ways? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

    Coal Smoke

When I get anywhere near the Presidential Range, as I have recently on Isolation, I can smell the unmistakeable smell of coal smoke as I approach a summit ridge. Then as I sit on top gazing at Mt Washington I see great plumes of jet black smoke from the trains! How can we complain about...
