100 Mile Wilderness end of August?

I have from August 18 to September 5th off, and will be completing the 100 mile wilderness (Monson, Maine to katahdin) sometime during this time span.

Anyone want to tag along? I typically hike at a moderate pace.

LS Have you done this hike before? I have and it is one of the best. Have a good, safe trip you are bound to like it.

Started it last year and was chasing Poison Ivy through a few days of it, but my hiking partner (ex-gf) decided the rain was too much and decided to bail. I did the right thing by accompanying her back to Monson (no small feat), and since I didn't have enough time left to complete it, I decided to wait until this year.

I'll be going up to do it solo starting Aug. 8th. I'm planning on going south - north, staying at Shaw's, and getting through it in 7 days. I'm sure they'll be plenty of thru-hikers heading that direction too. Good luck and have a great hike!!!!!

Have an awesome trip Lawn Sale! Hopefully the weather will be better this year... it's bound to be better if I'm not on the trail! (haha!)
