The official W46r dinner will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid on Sat, Mar 24 from 5-10-pm. Social hour with cash bar 5-6:30. The fabulous buffet with 4 entrees, salad, potatoes, green beans, dessert, rolls, etc costs the same as last year, $31/adult, $17 kids 4-12, kids under 4 eat free off parents' plates. This is a great time to socialize without getting hypothermia! Everyone is welcome as long as you like winter! All who finish the 46 peaks in winter (Dec. 21-Mar.21, 2012) will be recognized as long as you have your paperwork turned in or ready to turn in to the Office of the Historian that night. Make checks payable to "Adk 46rs" and mail them with the names of those attending to : Peggy MacKellar, 165 Elm Street, Lake Placid, NY 12946 by March 10, 2012. (early due to Crowne Plaza policy)
