Do I need to worry about hunters while doing Colvin and Blake from the Lake Road this coming Sunday? Thanks!

Should be OK

You should not have any problems in or around the Ausable Club Property during Hunting Season. We use this area every year at this time for our Boy Scout Troop when we camp just off the AMR Property on the way to Colvin. There is no hunting on the club property and its far enough away from the Elk Lake area that it is very unlikely that you will encounter any problems. Enjoy your trip!

Perfect, I'm introducing a friend from school who lives in Maine to the High Peaks and also getting 29 and 30 (I'm gonna be an aspiring 46er soon!!!!!!!) and I don't want to worry about all the huting stuff. Thanks!
