Thanks, I hadn't come across an article yet but had heard of this achievement. Will Robinson was also recently interviewed on the podcast "From the Backcountry," hosted by a trail runner and hiker Will Peterson, who just set the unsupported FKT on the Long Trail, and briefly had the NH 4000 footer FKT. I haven't listened to this episode yet, but in others they go into great detail about training, planning, nutrition, route, the effort, community, and the experience.

Yeah I followed Will on Instagram as he was doing this - pretty unique accomplishment. We both did the Bubba's Backyard Ultra a couple years ago. He powerhiked the entire time which was a funny contrast to the rest of us running/walking. He used the poles the entire race and wiggled side to side like those olympic speed walkers do. Worked damn well for him though - he finished with 87 miles in that race.
