Bald Knob & Turtleback (Ossipee Range) 12/10/11
Went up Bald Knob Trail (access at the old Mt. Road). 1100' of gain in just under a mile. Amazing views south.
From there, took a newly created trail straight north up to Turtleback Mt. Wide views to the north.
Returned to Bald Knob and the trail out via carriage roads to the SW.
Trails well blazed and in great shape.
5 miles. 3 1/2 hours (leisurely pace)
