Big Slide (via the Brothers) 4/16

Trail conditions: Nearly perfect! No snow until between the second and third Brother. Then it's hard-pack and some ice. I took all my gear with me today (Yak-trax, snowshoes, and crampons) but didn't need any of it. Still lots of snow in between the third Brother and the trail junction but it's still solid - But you know it will be that swampy mess soon! I did use my crampons for that last 3/10's since I dragged them along but there are some open sections up there now so they were really a hindrance. The ladder is mostly exposed.

Special equipment: Poles! Some traction device still helpful but not necessary.

Comments: An absoultley beautiful day to do the Brothers route. I played on the summit for nearly two hours!
