Bonds Access from Lincoln

I am sure this issue is dated....

It is my impression from the latest trip reports that the suspension bridge between the bonds and the Kanc is restored. I have never been this way and will be heading up there on Sat.

Am I correct in assuming that we wont have a sketchy crossing up to our hips in icy stream water?

The only bridge you will cross is the main one at Lincoln Woods, which was never an issue.

The bridges that you have heard about are beyond the Bondcliff trail, and have been removed, not restored But neither of them concerns your trip.

Actually you are right ... the second bridge, over Franconia Brook, was restored over a year ago. Had totally forgotten about it.

Bring your snowshoes or skis! I expect there may be enough base, of course it may be packed down boilerplate by the time you are hiking.
