Hiked Buck from Pilot Knob. Trail was dry and in good shape. Not too many black flies, perfect weather.
Note, a long section (probably almost a half mile) of this trail has been relocated around the eroded wet area that was about 2/3 of the way up the mountain. The new section of trail is very soft and nice right now, like any new trail. By and large it's a good reroute. There are a couple of spots that are sidehill, and may be prone to erosion in the future.
It's light enough to hike until about 9PM now. Sweet!
