Please use this tool wisely and well. The object is (I think) self-explanatory. If you are planning to go to the Catskills, Dacks, Harriman etc. to hike, this is a way to find others with whom to share transportation. I should say that if you planning to head up to the Whites, Vermont or Maine, I'm not going to say "no" to postings to this effect, but the focus is New York. For now, the settings are such that your response goes to the entire list automatically. For that reason alone, please keep on topic. I hope this will be of some assistance to the regional hiking community.
