Trial Conditions:
The lack of recent snow really shows on this trail
Very icy @ the beginning,
many exposed areas along the whole length of trail...
rocks & leaves to maneuver around
Not a lot of snow on the trail in some spots
Special Equipment:
Microspikes!
{or Stabilicers}
It looked like someone before us tried to use snowshoes but I wouldn't recommend it at all right now
there were too many spots to try negotiate around w/ shoes.
Dickey Ledges were mostly dry & exposed with some scattered spots of snow along them
We'll be back someday when there's more coverage!
But still some great views on a clear day with lots of wind
