Hiked from the K highway. Not much snow, a lot of ice. We used microspikes from start to finish. The climb up and down East peak was slow and difficult because of the ice. The chimney between the summits had a lot of ice. We bypassed the chimney by scrambling up the rocks to the north side of the trail.
