Started at the end of Hopper Road. Snow was shallow and trodden up to some campers at the first crossing of Money Brook. After that, the snow was shallow but unbroken up to Mt. Prospect. After the peak of Prospect the snow was drifted, ranging from 1-4 feet all the way to the AT. The AT was somewhat firm and recently packed all the way to Mt. Williams. From Williams to the Thunderbolt Ski Trail the AT was deep and soft and undrifted, about 3-4 feet consistently. Took the Hopper Trail all the way back. From Greylock summit back to the parking lot was packed, fast, and fun. Snowshoes would have been nice for about 1/2 the distance. No real ice to worry about anywhere.
